I have always wanted to declutter but just had no idea where to start, until I discovered Catherine's course.
I have recently moved houses (bigger to smaller) with my family (3 year old and a newborn) and I saw that I definitely needed to get rid of stuff as I was starting to look like a novice hoarder. I didn’t feel happy about our families' spaces and it was starting to mentally impact me. As a result,I wasn’t being present for the celebration of our new addition to the family because I was too stressed about the mess I was surrounded by.Â

As an exhausted mother, I seriously lacked the motivation but after reading Catherine’s motivational tips it helped. And as a parent of little ones, I planned decluttering between the kids naps and used a babysitter. But there were times where I got my 3 year old to help and interact with him over decluttering, which was enjoyable.Â

This course showed me how much unnecessary stress I was carrying around and the time I was missing with my family because I was constantly trying to catch up with cleaning.Â

Catherine’s course has helped me greatly. I already feel better within myself. After just decluttering one room, my child’s bedroom room I wasn’t stressing about the next day which motivated me to do the rest of the house. At the end of the day, I loved walking into their room to do bedtime and read a book with my toddler. I found I was really there in the moment and enjoying family time.
